If you’re anything like me, you spend most of your screen time on social media apps like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. Now, open one of those apps. I’ll bet that one of the first few posts you see on your feed is some sort of advertisement, am I right? Take my Instagram for example. The third post on my Instagram feed was this sponsored post by Dyson. This is a basic example of social media marketing, with an eye-catching visual component, a concise but informative caption, and a call-to-action link that viewers can’t miss.


Today, almost every internet user can be reached on social media, and as social media continues to grow, it is important that businesses are able to keep up. Social media marketing can be applied to nearly every industry, which is why it is growing at such a rapid pace.
