When introducing a new campaign or product, the biggest goal is to push the idea out to your audience to get attention and therefore encourage the success of your launch. The easiest way to do this is to use social media marketing and the various platforms available with their unique tools available for all individuals no matter your expertise.
Know Your Audience
Knowing your audience is the first step in being able to accomplish increasing the reach of your posts or products. Eric Enge advises targeting the innovators and early adopters section of your target market. Catering to this audience is essential for good engagement and helps to give content credibility. The best way to cater is to target your ads to the exact sites your market visits. Doing this will accelerate your growth and engagement. The following ideas are great to implement when posting on social media sites:
Establish columns on high-authority sites
Share information on your own social platforms
Interact with influencers
Participate in online and offline events
Use Multiple Formats for Delivery
Another tool to engage in is using multiple formats for delivery. Snapchat recently released an update allowing advertisers to engage in this concept. Through the use of multiple advertising formats, you are able to create a cohesive ad set, optimizing the delivery towards clients. Spreading the ads across these different formats maximizes ad response for your campaign! You are getting your ad out to more eyes for users who may not use certain social platforms you post to. Introducing your post across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, for instance, can help you reach a wider and more diverse audience. This ensures you get as many eyes as possible on what you are trying to promote or sell.
Understand Reach on Facebook
Brent Barnhart has great tips on how to increase reach on Facebook. Facebook reach represents the number of unique users who see your post or page, regardless of whether the user engaged with the specific post. The platform also possesses a number of different tools for reaching your audience its users can manipulate to their desired uses.
These tools include; Organic reach which measures how many people saw a non-sponsored post and is the hardest type of reach to earn. Viral reach refers to how many people saw your content because someone else engaged with it. Finally, ad reach refers to the number of people who saw your particular Facebook ad. All tools are great to use when pushing out your campaign to encourage the maximum amount of reach possible.
Reaching the biggest audience possible can be a daunting task for anyone. Luckily many platforms exist to make this easier and these tips and tricks can be useful to implement on your target market with the platforms they use most.
