Numbers simply never lie. When it comes to social media marketing, Hootsuite has the numbers that will prove its value as a marketer.


- Just in the next 5 years, the amount of people expecting to join the social media world is jumping from 3.6 billion to 4.4 billion.


-In this year, 2022, ad spending will go over $173 million.


-Just video ad spending will jump to $24.35 billion and overall grow by 20.1%.


-Instagram will even bring in close to $16 billion on story ads. This is just on one platform.


-According to Sprout Social, consumers that learn about new brands on social media is at a whopping 55%.


-Businesses that use social media data to make business decisions is at 72%.


-80% of businesses think putting extra money into social media marketing is not only worth it, but now a priority.


If you are a numbers person and like pure evidence, you could probably stop reading right here. Everyone has unique characteristics, whether it be as a friend, family member, or employee. Just like everyone else having those unique characteristics, so do social media marketers. We have some so strong that businesses make it a priority to add us in as a position; and if they don't...well after reading this, they might just change their mind.


- According to Semrush, marketers have a wider range of skills. Whether it be data analysts, web designers, or content writers, marketers have it all.


-More access to other tools and programs that your company was not even aware of.


-You will get a unique and out-of-the-box opinion on your company's next money move.


-Marketers have more experience with trial and error in the industry.


-Marketers not only grow your business, but continue to engage with the public through social media for you to grow relationships.

Marketers have a lot to offer to a business or company, and it is continually proven over and over again. I could go on and on about the benefits of social media marketers, but these are some of the main points that stand out. Hopefully, by now I have convinced you to either hire a social media marketer or if you are one to make sure you know your worth. Never look past this industry.
