How to Make Your Business Successful with Instagram

Introduction: The Importance of Instagram

Instagram is a major component in many different companies' marketing strategies nowadays. 71 percent of businesses use Instagram to market their products and services. 90 percent of people on Instagram follow at least one business. This means that Instagram is a great way for small new businesses to build a platform and show off what they are about! Before you can do anything, the first important thing you must do, however, is develop a strategy.

Developing your Marketing Strategy

  1. Develop your goal.


If you want to use Instagram to help build your business, you must first decide what the primary objectives you are trying to accomplish include. Here is a list of goals that your strategy may include:


  • Increase sales


  • Drive website traffic


  • Generate brand awareness


  • Boost customer engagement


  1. Set up your Profile.


Your profile must look attractive so that way it can draw clients in. Here is a list of some things to have on your profile


  • Profile picture


  • Business name


  • Contact information


  • Business location


  1. Creating your Bio


When people view your profile, people tend to make an opinion of you within the first 10 seconds. Because of this, it is super important to stand out and show your audience what you want them to take away from you. Create a company tagline and, in two sentences, show what your audience can expect to see from you.


  1. Create Authentic Content


Create content that draws people to your business. This content must be very appealing and show your audience why they must invest in your business. Try to stand out from other businesses, and make sure that you post regularly so people continue to be drawn to your business.


  1. Offer Exclusive Promotions


By offering promotions, it makes people more likely to follow you on Instagram. Offer a promotion so that people decide to give your business a shot, and then once they do, turn them into customers for life!
