Are you looking to find out how to boost your organic reach on Facebook? We found all the information you will need from the Social Media Marketing Podcast with guest star Rachel Miller.
We will cover the A+M+C Strategy and how this should equal a purpose. This is Rachel Miller's strategy from the podcast. It has been known that the organic reach for Facebook has been taking a spiral down. Now it is starting to be one of the most important things to Facebook.
The Perfect Audience
The audience is the first step in the AMC Strategy. You need to know who the audience is and what they're looking for. A tip that Rachel states in the podcast are to check the audience's insights on Facebook. You need to find the activity that they are interacting with. In our case, it might be Social Media Marketing. You will be able to see how many people are searching for this topic and how many times they click or share something about it. Then you have found the niche as Rachel says. After you find the highest activity or page you then can start to get ahead of it. You can do this by signaling Facebook that you're alike. You can do this by tagging yourself in comments on their page.
The Perfect Message
The second step in the AMC Strategy is the message. This is what makes the audience click on these posts. You want to self-identify your audience. You want to think about who they are and who they want to be known for. People are always sharing, commenting, and liking posts and this will show who they are and how to look good. You want to post content that people would wear on their clothing. Meaning that it is positive and will not be embarrassing for them to show the public on their Facebook wall. You don't want your audience to feel threatened if they interact with it. For example, instead of the title saying "3 Ways to Clean your Dirty Carpet," you should say "3 Ways to get your Husband to Clean your Carpet." It is less threatening if you make it look like your trying to motivate your husband.
The Perfect Content
Creating content is the last step in the AMC Strategy. Memes and photos are the most liked by the audience. This is the best way to get people to like, comment, and share your content without forcefully asking for it. We want to craft content to link to micro signals on Facebook. You don't want to be bossy with your call to action. Rachel mentions that you can reword your phrases to "I bet you know who needs this" instead of saying make sure you share this to your friends. Videos help give the audience a break from scrolling. People are more likely to save a video rather than commenting that way no one will see if they don't want anyone to. Facebook loves it when videos are saved. A video that may be saved could be a workout video that the consumer may not want to comment on because they might feel self-conscious of their weight. Rachels states that Facbook videos last 30 seconds to three minutes. If a customer watches three videos in a row, Facebook will recommend the videos. It is important to transcribe the videos you post. You can do this by showing your hand writing words down or using subtitles within the video. You need the ability to know what's going on without turning the audio on.
A+M+C= Purpose
Now that you know that the audience, message, and content to build up a platform equals your purpose. Facebook can drive traffic towards websites, blogs, stores, and many more.
