Social media creators today are always looking for new trends to follow to get their content viral. Some hit the jackpot, and some fall short and are left wondering, "How do they do it?" In this blog post, I'm going to share with you tips and words of advice from content creators who get millions of engagements on each post.
Engagements are clicks, likes, comments, and shares on your post. A big part of getting your content out there is to aim for high engagement. The more people who enjoyed your post, the more likely they are to take action on it.
How To Encourage Engagements
Everyone wants their content to be enticing to their viewers, right? Making content that is relatable to others is key to growing your engagements and reach. Things to keep in mind from Pretty Little Marketer was to keep your posts human. Knowing your audience and what appeals to them while showing that you're one of them is important in building a connection with your viewers. Additionally, keeping things honest, lively, and to the point, while also maybe adding in a few emojis can keep the interest in your posts.
Asking questions or interacting with your audience is also a very easy way to build engagements fast! Have you ever seen when a big brand comments back to a person on TikTok? That person and everyone who views that brand's reply absolutely loves it. It's great free popularity and can attract more activity to your page.
Furthermore, keeping a consistent posting schedule for your viewers to look forward to is a fantastic strategy for keeping engagements consistent. The more consistent you are with posting per month or week, the more likely your posts are to get out there. Since your followers know when to be expecting you, you may have more joiners who race to see your next post.
Interactive Ideas
You may be asking, "How do I make my content interactive?" Easy. As talked about above, asking questions is a great place to start. Viewers being able to comment and converse with you creates a more comfortable space. Another great strategy that a lot of big content creators like to do is create incentives, according to Hubspot. Doing promotions, giveaways, creating hashtags, and encouraging viewers to also make content following your promotion are all easy ways to boost your engagements.
Tools to Help Create Your Content
Now that we got some good ideas on how to get our engagements up, where do we start? A great tool Facebook has incorporated into their Meta Business Suite is the scheduling tool. Whenever you create your content, you can upload it to whatever scheduling program works best for you so your posts are ready to go. These scheduled posts will automatically post on the scheduled day and time you have it set for. So, if you have some extra time or know what you want to post but don't want to post it right away, using a scheduling tool would be of great service for you to help keep your posting consistent.
Canva is another awesome website that can help you create unique and creative content. Canva is a free site but can be upgraded for more creative options that allow you to find and use templates, graphics, fonts, and other fun items to help you create enticing posts. Finding an easy editing program is crucial to creating content that stands out.
Happy Content Creating!
