Have you ever thought when posting content, “How can I make this more exciting?”? Interactive content is on the rise to making more content engaging to help increase a following. When people see interactive content, it feels more personable and it is more likely to capture their attention. This also helps grow your brand loyalty to keep people coming back.



How Do you Create Interactive Content?


There are many ways you can create interactive content across each social media platform.


1. Polls/ Surveys

A great way to get your followers involved are polls and surveys. Whether it’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter (or any other social media platform), there is most likely a poll button. Polls and surveys are a good way to ask fun or serious questions to get your followers to interact with your media.


2. Interactive questions

Interactive questions are a good way to create conversations with your followers. Putting a question at the end of your paragraph that you have or just posting the question itself helps engage your followers. This is a great way for you to also get to know your followers and see what they think about certain things.



3. Videos/Photos

The attention span of someone scrolling through social media is about six seconds until they move onto something new. Videos and photos are a great way to grab people’s attention. Gifs, text animation, and video clips, are good ways to make things less boring and add the element of movement to get people's attention.



4. Infographics

When showing people, a large amount of educational information, infographics are a good way to visually please your followers. It sums up all information into one picture and helps engage your followers.


There are quite a few different ways to make your content more engaging and keep your followers growing. The next time you post, think to yourself “Would I stop scrolling to interact with this?”.
