Have you ever had a to-do list that was so long that you did not even know where to start? I have, and in that period of time, I found myself on TikTok scrolling for hours. While scrolling, I noticed I constantly saw the same type of videos from the same people, and that is when I realized it was time for me to learn how to find better content. To create better content and catch new followers, follow the easy steps below:

TikTok For Business

Creating TikTok videos is a great way to gain an audience. People on TikTok are showcasing many different things. Businesses have started to use the app to promote their products and services. The promotion of products has to be done creatively. As the B2B Brand of the Year, they have a glowing recommendation for rebranding. The top two are great first tips. 1. Get a TikTok Business Account. It is essential to know the difference between a personal and a professional page. The second point, use the TikTok Ads Manager. This is important as it reaches a large number of users. Check out Neil Patel's blog for more ways to boost your brand.

Ads & Posting Schedule

One of the most important aspects of being in a marketing position is knowing your role. As marketers posting and pushing ads out can be tricky as there are different audiences. TikTok is typically trending towards younger age groups, those around eighteen. Hootsuite states a critical fact, "Time zones matter!" (Macready, 2022). Below are the four details that need to be included in each post:

  1. The date and platform you want the post to publish on

  2. Any relevant KPIs

  3. Platform-specific criteria like Stories, Reels, or Feed posts

  4. A brief description of the content

Author Macready stated those four details and many more that can be found here. Alongside Hootsuite, Social Media Examiner tells a lot of information on ad scheduling. As the platform with the most growth currently, ad delivery is pertinent. According to the author of Social Media Examiner, there are different types of ads. The ad types are listed below:

  1. Images

  2. Videos

  3. Playable Ads

  4. Spark Ad posts

  5. Instant Forms

  6. Interactive Add-on
