Social media is becoming more normal in our life, we all know what social media is, and most of us have experience using it. Especially the young generation, we spend lots of time on it, and we have our favorite bloggers to follow and read. However, have you been thinking about why they are so popular and how they attract your attention among huge users? As a user, are you still confused about how to use social media platforms effectively? Are you post your content on social media platforms but not much interaction? If so, here are some great tips for you.
1. Sync posts across all social media accounts
Create multiple accounts for your brand, because Using more social media platforms is a great tactic for propagating your content, and it can expand the range of reaching more potential audiences, which is more accessible.
2. Include hashtags to increase engagement
According to Kayla Carmicheal, “Hashtags are like a golden ticket to increasing your online reach”. Try to use these hot hashtags so that when users search them, it will increase the possibility of reaching your post. (Kayla Carmicheal,2021)
3. Build your brand voice and tone
Voice and intonation symbolize the attributes of the brand, they can be humorous or sincere. According to Hannah: "To connect with your audience, you need to have a clearly defined brand voice. Some brands are super-cheeky on social media. Others maintain a pretty formal tone" (Hannah, 2022)
Here are some questions to consider as you define your brand voice and tone.
Jargon
Avoid using jargon that is difficult for the public to understand, and use words that the public can understand as much as possible.
The sentence, paragraph, and caption length
Remember, short is the best, and use short, clear copy to avoid ambiguity. Also remember, don't forget to use video formats like videos, GIFs, or reels, they can help grab the public's attention.
4. Track your social media metrics.
Trying to use analytics tools to track your data, to figure out what we should modify after comparing the different data from valid posts and invalid posts. Cited to Ellie Mirman, “Social media metrics help you see what’s working and what isn’t, and come with the benefit of letting you take a break from people” (Ellie Mirman, 2022).
5. Create a Social Media Content Calendar
According to Anna Sonnenberg, “For example, Creator Studio shows you when your followers are on Instagram. You can view average follower numbers by the hour, making it easy to find the most popular times to post ’’ ( Anna Sonnenberg, 2022). Therefore, set your social media content calendar and post your blogs at the best time so you can gain impressions, clicks, likes, and comments as much as possible.
